Came across this the other day when trying to get to The Lord of the Rings Online Home | The Lord of the Rings Online and typed The Lord of the Rings - On Stage | Introduction | Welcome. How did I miss this?

"THE LORD OF THE RINGS completed its run at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, on 19 July 2008 after playing to over 700,000 people."

And a Klingon Opera?

Really could have done without the fat kid and the bad prosthetic forehead.

This is seriously the first you've heard of the Lord of the Rings musical?
Man, when it was in Toronto you couldn't go anywhere without hearing about it.

And apparently, it sucked.

You HAVE heard of the Evil Dead Musical and the Spider-Man musical right?

Evil Dead: The Musical is apparently a blast, and its actually been re-opened and had a second run in Toronto it did so well.

The Spider-Man musical, last I heard it was being postponed indefinitely due to problems with the music. Which I'm glad for, because its being put together by U2, so its going to be terrible anyway.
