So I'm playing Star Trek Legacy again, trying to get past this horribly programmed game.. mainly for the storyline.. I've got a trainer on, which only partially works for instant phasers and ship credits and I can still die and lose ships...
I have never made it past Picard's era. It starts with his era aboard the Stargazer and immediately thrusts you into a no win situation with stellar core fragments aiming at 3 different planets/spacestations.I'd love to find a savefile one mission after this and pick up from there, but I have too big of a headache to look at my monitor for too much longer.
Anyone else ever gotten through this horribly addictive game?

ok, thanks to a walkthrough I made it through that horrible mission yesterday.. turns out the game is pretty retarded in telling you that it might want a special Z target for height for an object. The mission itself calls for turrets to be towed into place to protect 3 planets from stellar debris (re: asteroids). My ships kept towing the turrets to the correct coordinates but it never told me that there was an up and DOWN to the coordinates. Made things a bit less hectic. That enabled me to get past the level and finish the game, yay!
Was good to hear Kate Mulgrew's voice as "Admiral" Janeway and not just Captain.

I'm stuck fairly early on in the game, been a while since I touched it but I believe I'm playing as Kirk flying a Klingon ship for some reason.
