Apparently Microsoft is clamping down on employees who use phones other than those which use Windows technology. One thing they are doing is refusing to reimburse minutes for employee usage unless it is a Windows product. Apparently people can get into trouble, although Microsoft plays this down.

My favorite part are the comments. They can be boiled down to the following:

Quit bitching and make a better product.

I haven't tried a windows mobile 7 phone yet, but I love my iPhone.

I'm glad I work for an OS agnostic company.

I hate this stupid fucking logic of corporate (head's up their asses) CEO's who chastise employees for using competitor products. I see nothing wrong with Microsoft giving discounts exclusively for employees using Microsoft products, but come on. If you want your employees to back your product, make a better product!

A lot more now that the "inventor" of the cell phone says he uses one, and it was posted on Lifehacker. That means all the little sheep will drop iPhones for Droids now since LH said it.

Droids are pretty nice. I made the mistake of jumping in on using a blackberry. It's more annoying than anything since people at work know they can reach me 24/7.
