Hi all.

When I play Minecraft, I frequently think about things from the guy's point of view. He's been born into a world where darkness spawns demons, he's all alone, and he can be hurt, but cannot die.

He's stuck in this world.

As such, I decided to try my hand at a story-based Minecraft blog about this character.

The Chronicles of Baa

It will be a dramatic tale of loneliness, exploration, and self-discovery as this character tries to make this place home, while he tries to find a way "back," wherever "back" is.

I don't claim it will be good, and as a matter of fact, this first post didn't quite accomplish what I wanted, but I'm going to try and hopefully won't lose interest.

Hehe. I'm going to play the game as someone who's not familiar with the world would. So night time will be a surprise, shelter won't be an immediate (or understandable) concern, etc.

I hope to make this entertaining for people. As it goes on (assuming I don't lose interest), I'll actually plot some story elements.

What kind of schedule do you plan to update on/do you plan to update regularly?

At the moment I think I'll update every day, but we'll see how schedule permits.

I was thinking of making something like this only it would be a bunch of Halforumites stuck together (multiplayer naturally), and it would eventually de-evolve into a wacky black comedy sitcom.

We could even get Cajungal to make us a theme song somewhat akin to this one:


Oh, and it would be in video format.

Yeah, that whole "schedule permitting" thing isn't permitting. I've been wanting to update though. Sigh.

Oh well. Maybe when I get more time.

Yeah, I honestly thought I would have -some- time to put into this, but I haven't even gotten to start up Minecraft in the last week.
