Damn, commentary may be the one thing that would get me to buy it. MI:SE wasn't worth the price of admission. The voice acting was good, but everything else about the remake was disappointing. The interface was broken (and I don't mean unimproved, I mean the graphics didn't line up with clickable areas in the menus), the enhanced graphics were wildly inconsistent and generally it was just a very sloppy port. I realize that they wanted to keep it the same game, still running on the SCUMM engine, but they really should have at least made what was there actually work, and probably fixed some of the clunkier aspects while they were at it.
If MI2:SE is just more of what was in MI:SE, then I'll pass. If the developer commentary is good... then I'm torn.

I have to agree with Fig. Graphically speaking, it was gorgeous, but the movements were ridiculously stiff.
I'll wait and give this a try, since MI2 is one of my fave games.
