1. Mass Effect 3 : I'll be honest, I really want this game to work out but recent history from Bioware and their branching out to useless gimmick scares me regarding their final product. A single player RPG has no need for a underdeveloped MP and even less Kinect crap. Will my Shepard finally be reunited with Ashley? (or a Samara love choice would be awesome)
2. Diablo 3 : Being hopeful, since SWTOR is coming out this x-mas, I'm hoping with the closed beta and all that this game will see the light of day next Fall.
3. Max Payne 3 : Huge fan of the style of gaming and storyline. Looking forward to another great game that has been anticipated for a long time.
4. Bioshock Infinite : It's never going to be System Shock but I do have to admit I'm intrigued by the next design of the game and content.
5. Dragon's Dogma : Love the concept wonder if it'll work. It's like a hybrid game of Street Fighter with Swords / Left 4 Dead / Colossus gaming type. Me like the trailers/gameplay seen.

Skyrim is 2011.
My 2012 list?
1: Mass Effect 3 (Even though I've yet to play through a second run of ME1 or even play ME2 yet)
2: Whatever expansion Blizzard is announcing for WoW at Blizzcon on Friday.
and that's about it, considering I'm about 5 years backed up on awesome single player games that I never get around to playing.

Man, until I get past the next 2 months of insanely awesome game releases I can't even begin to think about 2012.

For 2012? All I care about is Mass Effect 3. I've got my media room being renovated with a 60" television, kick ass sound system and a sweet chair to sit in so I can play it on the big screen... it's going to be awesome!
That is unless Bioware drops the ball... which I will never forgive them for if they do.
And Jay, here I thought I was one of the only ones awaiting my characters reunion with Ashley Williams.

The new Jagged Alliance scares me, as much as I'd like them to release an awesome game, their company has a history of mediocre at BEST releases.
Beyond Skyrim, I fully expect to be done with the new Batman/Assassin's Creed by the time SWTOR comes out.

Okay, so I've been playing Fallout 3 then New Vegas since... March or so? And they are ALL I have played. These games are freaking HUGE. And while I don't play a ton each day I think I put a decent amount of time into them each week and I'm still 7 months in. I have maybe 2 more weeks of NV and then I'm all done.
I am really thinking of waiting for the GOTY edition of Skyrim so I can play some other games. How do other folks do it? Do you play multiple games at a time or are people just playing a lot more than I am in general?
1-60 was always easy. =P It was just time consuming before.
Either way we have no idea what it will be like, since it's not been announced. It's being announced this week at BlizzCon most likely.
I am not sure what you mean by raiding being the only real game. I have a lot of fun running heroics and battlegrounds. If raiding is considered the only end game, well, they are adding the LFR system next patch, meaning anyone can queue up for some raid action if that is what they want and they don't want to run with the guild or worry about schedules. I plan to use it a lot, might even make me play more then I have been depending on how much they say the difficulty is lowered over normal raids.
Didn't even realize anything cool was coming out in 2012 besides Mass Effect 3--the end of 2011's been phenomenal enough to overshadow the horizon. In fact, I'm pretty much ignoring 2012. I have New Vegas to play, and then eventually Skyrim, Arkham City, Assassin's Creed: Revelations... too much.
But first, I have to get through ME2, Batman, Assassin's Creed, Dark Souls, Catherine, MWF3, BF3, Red Dead, Gears3, and I keep meaning to play through the PSP releases of the Persona games.

Mass effect is really the only thing I know I'll be buying day 1 so far for 2012. Admittedly, I feel like it's going to be fucked though given what they've released so far.

Right now, I'm waiting on The Darkness II and Final Fantasy XIII-2. If they finally announce a game of the year version of Mass Effect 2, I'll be all over that too as I'm not shelling out for all the fucking DLC.

The Darkness was the best game never to grace the PC.
Loved it on PS3.
I hope the sequel can live up to it.

The Darkness?

No, The Darkness. Watch this trailer... the guy doing the voice over is both awesome and eccentric.

1) Jagged Alliance Back in Action (it will be ok as long as they allow modders to go in and fix everything.)
2) Diablo 3
3) Skyrim.

A Darkness game only using music by the Darkness might be the greatest thing never made...
Isnt that the approach for most PC games lately? Churn out a halfassed game, release Dev Tools and let the Mod Community do the rest.
Saves you from paying your programmers.

I'm not sure its the programming that presents the cost, its the level designers and balance guys. That stuff takes quite a lot to do.

After the pile of shit that Dead Island turned out to be, I'm hoping Battlefield 3 and Skyrim don't disappoint.
I'm hoping Diablo 3 and the WoW xpac are good in 2012.
Is Zelda Wii coming out in 2011 or 2012?
When's the WiiHD coming out. I've been in the mood for a new Mario game.
