Anyone have any idea how i could link an Excel list to a Word doc so that the .doc would change for each position on the list?! As in replace certain information in the Word doc based on the position in the list in Excel.

Or even just in Word if it's posible.

[STRIKE]I guess it would be called a Template in english, right?[/STRIKE] Ok, so the Help function says it's not.

IIRC you can get the DATA to change but not the position of the cells. If there's a way I don't know it.

Damn, i knew i didn't explain well enough.

Basically i was wondering if there is some way to make a word document that i can print out automatically with a different word in one place each time it comes out without having to manually change that word.

Dodge already said it...it's called merging, and it allows you do do things like feed a spreadsheet/database full of addresses through a document so that each one you print out has a new name/address on it, all pulled from the Excel file.

Problem is the things that should change are more text intensive then a simple address... so i guess data merge would be it.

Any links to a tutorial or something?
