What. Hie thee to a pumpkinerry! Which is wherever they sell pumpkins. Actually, it's been a while since I carved a pumpkin myself. I feel like obtaining one and having a go at the durr-face.

I pulled out all the stringy pumpkin guts and the seeds

It looks great and leaving it thick like that really adds to the whole boxiness.

I scrape our pumpkins pretty thin. I should try playing with the depth more. *

Between work and costume making, there is no time.

Stop sleeping so you can start carving.

It only took my about 2 hours to do my pumpkin, but that was with a stencil and spending around 30-40 minutes just using a box-cutter to transfer the stencil to the pumpkin. If you just want to do a simple, old fashioned one, you can get everything done in less than an hour.
