There's 6 episodes of Joel awesomeness availabe to watch on Hulu. Yay! I especially love that they are assignments I haven't seen yet.
Currently watching The Giant Gila Monster.

I know I'll probably have to turn in my Geek card, but I found Mike funnier than Joel.

The Lovely Boehner
There is also a lot of MST3K on Netflix watch instantly!
I can understand that. What I like about Joel is that he isn't good at acting. It's obvious he isn't working for the camera. Mike spends half his time looking at the camera, even when he is talking to the robots. I always found that a little annoying. I also prefer the skits with Joel because they never have Pearl (who I find annoying).
No matter who is hosting the show, I still enjoy it though.

Yup, I've already watched all of those. Those are different ones than the ones available on Hulu. I've really been lucking out in that they are different episodes than the ones I already own!

Joel had terrible timing on his quips to me. Mike is just so much wittier and his timing is great. I like watching both but I think Mike is the better of the two.
Also I love that they're getting on Netflix instant, too. So many I haven't gotten to see!
I appreciate both types of humor. I've seen more of Mike's stuff, but Joel was like this quiet, cool, dry guy, and when he makes comments, it's like you say--it's as if no one is listening. It's more what my friends and I would sound like if we were together making fun of a movie. There were also a lot more "in unison" jokes when Joel was around.
Mike's a little more wacky and weird, and he seems to want to interact with the audience more. I prefer his style. He's just so quick, and the voices he does are hilarious.

Try the Merlin chop. A half a pound of Merlin served with steak fries, vege-table of the day and whipped dessert.

One of my favorite Mike skits is when he's singing the song in the rain for Girl in Gold Boots
"Your touch... your feet... I am saad.....
Raindrops and snowflakes and puuuuppies.... OhhhhOhhhhhohhhhohhhhhh..."

Merlin's Shop of Mystical Wonders is the one my brother and I still quote to each other on a weekly basis.
