You know I've yet to actually read Sandman. I've always meant to, I just never got around to buying it. That said a couple of weeks ago I put in an order at my LCBS for the Slipcase trade collection that comes out in November. All 10 trades.

I own the 4, giant Absolute editions, now. I love them, but sometimes, I wish I had the trades. But then again, I really wish DC would redo them and make them maybe 9 volumes, instead. The third volume really pisses me off because it only collects three issues and a script. It's not worth the $25.

I have most of the actual issues, from "Doll's House" up through the "Inn at the end of the World". The rest I have in trades. Still some of the best comics ever written.
