It's going mobile, apparently. Disappointed, because many thought they would announce a sequel.

I'm guessing you won't have control of your partner in this instance.

I played it for a bit, but after a while felt like I was just button-mashing and sold it. It has a lot of style and a fun soundtrack, but I just wasn't enjoying the gameplay even though I admired it.

I loved the shit out if the gameplay. It took awhile to click, but soon I was puck passing like a fiend with huge combos. The game at core is very easy, but it has a sliding difficulty that lets you multiply enemies and lower your level for better rewards, so soon I was walking the razors edge mashing the game as hard as possible without dieing to get the best loot.

The best thing they could do with this version is introduce new story elements to promote the sequel (which the fans AND director want). They won't because hey, Square Enix hasn't made a good decision since they decided FF13 needed A SECOND SEQUEL...

The official message won't be for another 53 hours though.

Also, this is not an elusive, only available used game for DS. You can still get new copies from Amazon for $20.

And everyone totally should.

Knowing SE, they are going to charge AT LEAST $30 bucks for it too. For an iOS game. I don't think they understand how that platform works.

New Ending to iOS port teases upcoming sequel. So yeah... they are probably working on it right now.

I've had the game for years but never got around to beating it. Loved the monster designs from what I remember.

Amazon is out of stock, so anyone who didn't jump for it missed their chance at a cheap DS copy.

Watched some gameplay vids... why don't these style of games appease me?

They look I dunno.

I would highly recommend getting this for the iPhone or iPad if you have those. It's just plain easier to play than it is on the DS, where you have to worry about mashing the d-pad while using the stylus. Plus it has the expanded ending.

Jay , I think this is really the ONLY game where Nomura's art style felt "right" to me. It takes place in Shibuya, which is all about fashion and trends, so the over designed clothes actually fit right in.

I will gladly pay 30 dollars for a really good game. I don't know where the idea that all iOS games have to be no more than 5.00 came from.

It's 30 bucks for a game that is 4 years old. That's still better than Final Fantasy Tactics, which is -14 years old-, but it's still too much. It should be like 20, tops.

FFT is 10 bucks for PSX or PSP version.

Or is there some FFT on iOS?

You're in luck, it's 19.99
