Didn't see a thread about it. They showed a 6 min cgi trailer at SDCC..and it looked fucking epic;

(watch it in HD if possible)

Black Adam sure as hell seems more powerful than you'd think.. Oh and theres a slight NSFW moment where Wonder Woman's breast kinda doesn't fit into her brazier.

Well, that sure was pretty.

No gameplay, though. Cripes, I hate these big, flashy trailers that show you nothing of the game itself. Feels like such a waste of time. It's the similar complaint I have about cutscenes where you see the main character doing all sorts of cool action that YOU are not doing. I mean, how much of what we're seeing here can we expect to do in the game? I'm not expecting very much. It'll be the same kind of hack & slash, level grinding MMO crap as usual.

They've already showed lots of gameplay. Check out the other trailers.

As for Black Adam... hasn't Captain Marvel gone toe-to-toe with Superman more than once? In Justice League Unlimited, the only reason he even lost is because he fell into his own thunderbolt and got SHAZAMed back into his kid form. If Black Adam is anywhere near as powerful as Captain Marvel, Green Lantern never had a chance.

That was actually much more dark then I was expecting. Watching Green Lantern and Flash get incinerated, Batman strung up and defenseless while Deathstroke hacked him to bits, and Wonder Woman's dead body stuffed full of kryptonite before Superman is impaled by Luthor. :wtf: That is pretty harsh.

God, I hope the gameplay is better han what they had available last year as a demo. that was total crap then, but it was still quite early.

That looks awesome and makes a good argument for a 3d animated movie of Justice League.

Not holding out much hope for the game though, wasn't' impressed with what I saw at E3.

cool looking trailer, but I wanna see more of a gameplay. The only problem I forsee is that we are playing with "new heroes"? or off shoot of the main heroes?

I was kinda spoiled with City of Heroes so not sure on this one.

The wiki page says you have to create your own, since everyone would just want to play the closest thing to Batman as they could.

Well, sure. Honestly I guess instead of Batman I'd just be a green lantern. I wouldn't really care who. I'd be one of Kilowog's people who is also a green lantern.

Apparently the reason the explosion is so big is because the lightning broke the GL ring and hit Flash while he was tapping into the Speed Force.

So yeah. Really though, that trailer's badass. Mark Hammil and Kevin Conroy, too. Squee! The darker Superman was also awesome, watching Black Adam's punch just whiff right off him.

I have no interest in this game at all, as I have no time for MMOs. If someone could just expand it out to a full CGI movie though, that would be swell.

Someone call Hollywood and get them on that. K THX BYE.

Enjoy it while you can. After Arkham Asylum 2, Mark Hammil has made it clear he's done doing the Joker. Can't really blame him... he's been doing the character for what, almost 20 years now?[/QUOTE]

Yeah, I know. I don't blame him either. Honestly though it's hard not to hear Joker in most of his voices. I just finished Darksiders (he's The Watcher) and he slips into the angry Joker tone a couple times.

Actually, the guy who does Bender on Futurama did the Joker in the new Batman: Under The Red Hood animated movie, and I thought he did a fantastic job.

Needed more Harley Quinn, otherwise: Nice movie.

Here's hoping the game isn't another CoH clone, gameplay wise anyway.

Why not? CoH is and was a great game. In fact, it's doing quite well for a game that isn't of the generic fantasy MMO type.

Well, I guess it is because to play a CoH clone you can play the original one...
True, but that doesn't necessarily draw away from a good game. LOTRO has A LOT in common with WoW, but it's a fantastic game in it's own right and it's doing quite well. The fact that it heavily borrowed from WoW didn't diminish what it brought to the table.
