I hope you're not belittling the criticism as someone playing the race card or anything, because the OP is really zero steps removed from saying he's going to be eating fried chicken, watermelon, and grape drank every day in the white house.

I think Tinwhistler was agreeing that the OP was kinda dumb and randomly racist. I mean, I know that humor is subjective and Bigcountry probably didn't mean anything by it, but I have not seen anyone come in with a big "Fuck yeah!" response.

Heh, I chuckled, but then again stereotype jokes are amusing to me. I like Polish jokes the best. I'll always let the person telling the joke finish it up (some are pretty good), and then start speaking to them in Polish about what an idiot they are since the dumb Pollack can speak two languages fluently.

My black friends are usually the same way about the black stereotypes. They'll shrug it off and play to it if some idiot tells a black joke. The one time we were driving around and hunger strikes. I suggested KFC (cause I do truly like KFC), my one friend goes, "Why you gotta be patronizing the black man like that?" Sometimes racial/ sterotypical humor is funny if it's done is a parody fashion or reverses the hateful intent of the joke.

Close actually. Spelled: Kurwa. The "V" sound in Polish (like German) is spelled out with a "W".

Adding Mak to it is kind of old school. It literally translates to poppy (as in poppy seeds). Attaching it to swear words it associated with an old way of threatening someone with your fists (don't ask me how).

Most of the time people just say Kurwa, as in FUCK!

I'm German. So I party with them until I see that they have something I want. Then I run over them as fast as I can and take it.

Then I start partying with my Czech friends. :paranoid:

Figures. You Polish people speak too fast anyways. Some however were so friendly to teach me a few words...but you won't find me speaking Polish fluently anytime soon.

No worries. I said I didn't think you meant anything by it. And it's devolved into something different anyway. If it turns blatantly racist then we'll lock, but so far no harm has been done.
