Okay, the dedicated server is set up and ready to go. I'm awaiting word from Arvixe that they are ready to do the conversion. I will probably only have about a 10 minute window before I have to lock things down here so we don't lose any posts.

So if you are posting and it locks up and throws you a message don't panic - we're going to our own server.

Are we there yet, Dad? Can we stop and get some jerky? I have to pee! Bubble keeps scooting on my side of the car. Can I drive? Can you put Finding Nemo on the DVD player?

Can you give the IP for the new server, please? The domain is blocked at work, but not the IP. Once you switch, though, all will go dark for me...

I'm glad i'm not the first one to mention this, but yeah, the forums seem a deal slower now than before :-(

Well, yeah, I sort of figured it oughtn't be, too.
Is this a very small physically seperate server where before we had a huge virtual server, or something?

it has been going slow lately. I thought it was just me.

I'm a bit put out by it all also. I'm paying about 4x as much as before and it feels like a downgrade.

It is indeed slower. Having more errors pop up now too.
