Damnit. I always thought it was kind of fucked up that one of the most popular games of all time is essentially about dog fighting but now I feel like I have to go buy one because fuck peta.

Yeah, fuck those things. Also, this game is highly inappropriate for children.

It does have some funny pokemon references, though. Still, fuck peta.

PETA sucks and their game sucks.

For one thing, Ember and Water Gun are both special attacks, so lowering the opponents' defense shouldn't make any difference. Only lowering the opponents' special defense would make them take more damage.

I don't think they had educating children in mind with this game, as it's pretty horribly child unfriendly, with f-bombs and graphic videos.

Hell, in the first movie Ash literally sacrificed his life to save Pokemon.

Yes, he got resurrected. But that's because it's a kids' film.

Well, there is that 3DS download game, Dream Radar, that lets you snag rare Pokemon with their rare or Dream World abilities and upload them to BW2 on a DS...There wasn't too much press on that one.

Yeah the stuff with Ash made me lol so bad. Especially considering Pokemon is my daughter's favorite cartoon ever and we have 5 billion Pokemon DVDs. All Ash ever does is be all "You have to be friends with your Pokemon not treat them like that" yadda yadda. Which I mean, yes is ironic, considering that Pokemon *is* essentially one giant cockfighting ring if you want to look at it like that. This is not to mention the amount of times Ash just flat out releases his Pokemon so that they can be happier.

Okay I almost liked this game for the dark humor before I read that shit about Ash. Ash fucking loves his Pokemon, and treats them right in just about any media. And this is coming from a guy who can't STAND the show any more. Plus...shouldn't Peta have done this like 5 or maybe 10 years ago? Flash was made in '95, what the hell took them so long? Its just odd is all.

Maybe because the recent Pokemon game storylines are addressing the cockfighting element of the franchise.

Or because they just thought of it now.

Because PETA are now realizing their own lack of relevance, and are running with it?
