The Nostalgia Chick reviews Dragonheart

Very funny review. I loved the 00Dragon animation (or is that Bond, Dragon Bond?).

Decent review (I, too loved that little animation she kept showing!), but I can't believe there's anyone who doesn't like The Reluctant Dragon. :(

I loved this movie when I was a kid, I even have the book based on the movie back home somewhere.

I loved this film as a kid, too. But I hate the stupidity of the Finnish translators in the VHS I bought. "Draco" translated to a Finnish expression that could be best translated back as "Drakey" in kiddy speech. In scholar's speech my aching ass

I hated this movie. I thought it was thoroughly forgettable. It felt picked from the teeth of some larger, better story. The actors were boring, and the story was so predictable, it was practically revealed in the first 3 minutes of the movie. The only thing decent that came out of this turd was the theme, which still gets used in at least one movie trailer a season.

I remember seeing this with my dad when I was a kid. When I watched it recently I realized how goofy it was in some parts. Don't care. ^_^

I saw it in the theaters and kinda liked it. Saw it last year on TV and tried to remember why I liked it. It may have been a good date...

Saw it when I was younger, loved it. Got the DVD when it came out, still liked it. Watched it again last year and also realized how weird it was at times, but I still enjoy it. It's one of those campy-fun movies to me.

Wouldn't have expected you to say any different.

Great?

I'm not apologizing. I thought it was plain old boring. You know what it reminded me of? One of those old soundstage horror shows, where you had that eerie feeling that no one one else existed in the world. Know what I mean? Like this story and cast didn't extend beyond the cardboard constraints of the story. I love sword and sorcery. I love Connery. I didn't love this movie.

This movie came out when I was in middle school. We constantly went around shouting to each other, "I am the lasht one!"
