Heard the full version of this for the first time in a LONG time, and couldn't help but smile at all the happy memories of watching it as a child. Anything else you guys have?

And, as 'bonus nostalgia':

And, while it doesn't technically count:

Powerglove are working on 2 new CDs. I'm effing stoked. Big fan of theirs.

Fuck, I'm a nerd.

The only Nostalgia I indulge in every now and then is playing old games luke Duke Nukem and Starcraft.

Outside of that and my routine of watching a couple of Star Trek:TNG episodes with my parents whenever I visit them, I mainly stay in the here-and-now.

I'm confused, you were a fan of the Original Ghostbuster AND Power Rangers? That just doesn't make much sense to me....

How so? I was born in 1986, I think I got into The Real Ghostbusters around the tail end of its run (1990 or so), and was a Power Rangers fan right when it came out (when I was about seven).

People are all mostly used to the 60's Spider-Man intro when it comes to Nostalgia.

THIS is the cartoon I remember from my youth.

Little known fact. Wanna know why the 60's Spider-Man was so fucked up? Ralph Bakshi. Yeah.

Spider-man and his Amazing Friends came out right as I was hitting puberty.
I remember being EXTREMELY fascinated with Firestar's costume ;)

Oof... I feel quite young by comparison. And old, too. The selection of children's programming used to be a combination of old and new. So I watched Huckleberry Hound, Top Cat and old Warner Bros. cartoons alongside TMNT, DuckTales and whatnot...

And they were still better than the drivel they're showing these days...

What can I say? Magic Knight Rayearth was the first anime series I saw (I had seen two Miyazaki films, Totoro and Porco Rosso, before), so they're a little nostalgic for me.

Heh heh heh, okay, this is definitely gonna be weird for you guys ;) Meet Rölli, every Finn's favourite troll. I remember growing up watching this guy; basically it's about this troll, living alone in the woods, who hopes he would be more scary - but he's actually quite the softie. Allu Tuppurainen - the actor playing Rölli - is likely as loved in Finland as... I dunno... Mr Rogers is in the States.

I was the same. I watched a lot of shows as a kid and loved both of the above at the time. As well as other shows that came a little earlier.

My friend & I used to get in fights about who got to be the pink ranger. There was much hair pulling.

This made me nostalgic. Basically any of those late 80's, cuddly cartoons (Care Bears, Popples etc.) & Mr. Rogers make me nostalgic.

Shit yes! I didn't have cable as a kid, so I watched a lot of Thunderbirds that my uncle would tape off and mail to me. He was a huge Thunderbirds fan, so I think he was trying to mold me in his image.

Whenever I got to my other aunt's house, I'd watch cartoons, chief among them was Transformers.

The two channels we DID get had Power Rangers and Ninja Turtles after school, but mom wouldn't let me watch them because they were too violent. Instead I would end up watching Passions with my babysitter.

On Saturday mornings I would get up early enough to catch The Animated Adventures of Robin Hood, which led into Sonic The Hedgehog, and then Batman: The Animated Series. A few other cartoons later, and my father would come down so we could both watch Bugs Bunny.

When we finally got cable, I watched a lot of old reruns with my parents. That's how I fell in love with M*A*S*H, and All in the Family. Eventually I got into a routine after school. I Dream of Genie, Bewitched, The A-Team, and by the time my parents were home for supper, we'd all watch M*A*S*H and All in the Family.

I feel like a bit of a poser when I talk about the shows that came on before my time, but thanks to re-runs and my parents, they were a huge part of my growing up as well.

Damn... they didn't let you watch Ninja Turtles but you ended up watching Passions instead??

If it were my kid, It'd be the other way around.

Wow, this gave me some major nostalgia:

I remember being a kid when my parents first got cable, and this being one of the first kids' movies I saw on HBO. Man, I watched this movie all the time back then.
