Woah. Can't believe I'm going to say this, but I enjoyed this review. Spoiler-ish I was expecting the Critic not to be too familiar with this movie and to just leap on some of the acting and plot points in the jail scene and stuff, which he kinda did, but then he was a bit reserved until the end, whereupon he revealed that it's a guilty pleasure he watches every year, which I can relate to. When I was really young, we were really restricted as to what we could watch (we were hardly allowed to even watch much of any TV in those days); Ernest movies were my favorite because they were a good clean source of wackiness that you could watch without certain parties frowning. I grew up on Ernest films, man. Sure, they don't hold up nearly as well when I watch them as an adult, but there's still an innocent charm about a few of them, and if I ever have kids, I'd love to introduce them to Ernest P. Worrell.
