So, today I went to the dentist, to finally get my horribly painful toothache checked out. X-rays were taken, and this is what was found.



Now, you can see two things here. The top tooth, all the way to the right, is the one that's hurting. It's a broken wisdom tooth that's completely fractured.

But what's interesting is that dark spot in my jawbone. It's some sort of mass or tumor, and the dentist urged me to visit an oral surgeon sometime soon to get it biopsied. She did not like the way it looked. On the plus side, she said it didn't look immediately like cancer, so... yeah, I guess there's that.

As a side note, $600 to pull a tooth is highway robbery, especially since I don't have dental insurance to cover it, and double especially since I'm broke after trying to help with my mom's hospital bills.

I hope it's nothing too bad.

also, I hope things work out. It almost looks like a chip in your jaw or something. like it comes up but then it looks like a crater or something before continuing.
