What do you think of this film?

I saw the trailer. That was enough for me.

Wait, is this the Kevin James one or the Seth Rogen one? Haven't seen either, mild interest in seeing the Seth Rogen one.

Kevin James is Paul Blart Mall Cop. I actually enjoyed that movie in a different way................. that's a whole nother story................

Kevin James is one of the biggest "comedy" disasters of our generation.

I remember liking it, though I thought the whole denouement was pretty cop-out. The rest of the movie was wicked in its dark humor.

Observe and Report is great. That is all.

I don't know, really? I thought there was a complete tonal shift, and I was really hoping the movie would end even more bleak than it began.

It was very, very good. It is not a movie for everyone.

I loved it, my dad, who I saw it with, got up about 20 minutes in and played games in the arcade until it was over.

Can't stand Seth Rogan so I didn't watch it to be honest.

Well yeah, it has Joey Lauren Adams, Milla Jovovich, and Adam Goldberg.

And Observe and Report has Patton Oswalt, Aziz Ansari, Ray Liotta, and Anna Faris.

I don't know how bleak it was--it felt like there was a handle on reality, and then there was that whole cop showdown, and then after that it seemed less like bleak realism and more like bleak satire. But I also really need to go back and watch it again.

Patton is almost enough to save it, but Seth really is that bad.

Also the point of my reply was that none of the "kill it for me" characters were in D&C.

*I realize that perhaps the sarcasm wasn't evident enough to state that I puposelly ignore that MM is in that film.

Bleak satire or realism, it does not matter. It just was a terrible movie, and definitely not a masterpiece, in any way, shape or form.

Saw it. Would not watch again.

Loved it in the same way that I love Eastbound and Down.

Would not watch it with my girlfriend.

I R now intrigued.

It's a dark movie with a mentally deranged and dillusional protagonist and a great side cast. It's not the greatest film ever made, and it doesn't take place in space, but if you can put aside those things, you just might enjoy yourself.
