Merry Yule!

Merry Christmas, everyone! I got the sweetest homemade gifts from my students--cookies, an ornament, and a beautiful little journal. Even though I was annoyed at having an extra work day, it was fun to have a little party with the kids. I also got some very generous gift cards from parents. I didn't expect so much stuff, but it was very nice of them to show their appreciation in that way. Two of them are for Fresh Market. Imma get me some nice steaks and a wedge of St. Andre cheese!

I found some wonderful presents for my family: Chili chocolate for dad, a potted plant hanger for mom, a pocket sheet music journal for my brother, and some herbs and kitchen stuff for my sister! Finally, I found a cute pink satchel and a hula hoop for my niece. As much as a dread shopping, I really enjoy setting the money aside to find the perfect gift for everyone. The day is approaching... Christmas is so wonderful. The whole family in one house... it's just perfect in every way.

Merry fuckallamis to all!! Seriously. It's a festive fuckallamis season and I wish all the good will and happiness to all.

Happy holidays to all. 24 hours to go before my big weekend. Saturday playing zelda on my own, sat night at my grandparents house getting drunk with the rest of the family, giving out lollies to all the cars passing to look at the christmas light display. Sunday at my parents house, getting drunk with the extended family and friends, swimming and getting a suntan all day long. I plan to be hungover and as bronze as a guido come work on monday. YAY!

Merry Christmas, everyone. I'll be around today/Friday, and then will be busy for most of the weekend. Going out to dim sum on Christmas Eve morning with my fiance's parents, Christmas Eve together with her, her parents, and my dad and stepmom; and then visiting family members on Sunday.

The same one I have every year: To not die.

So far it's working well.

To kick ass at science, and to gain enough forearm and grip strength via rock climbing to crush a grizzly skull in my bare hands.

The best part of the Holidays for me so far is that I'm getting Dec.24+25+26th off then Dec31st+Jan.01+-02 off. Hurrah for 3 day weekends.

I bought myself some awesome Christmas presents (My earlier post about the video card upgrade) and the Blu-Ray Extended Edition LOTR set (15 disks!!!). I'm probably going to be out my favorite bar on Christmas itself to insure some Holiday sex but otherwise spending it to myself. At this point, I wouldn't have it any other way!

We spent the afternoon/evening at my aunts/cousins' house. The twins' utter reverence and obedience for Santa was hilarious as they started writing a letter to put next to the milk and cookies. I made a few suggestions they didn't accept.

"Dear Santa, Please accept our offering and sacrifice. We hope for a bountiful harvest this year. And iPads. We hope to slay many enemies in your name, and to have good wind and speed on our voyages. Love, your faithful servants."

Alternatively:
"What is best in life?"
"Santa Claus!"

Everybody have a very merry Christmas. This is usually the one time of year when all four family members are in the same place at the same time, so it's been very fun. We get together long enough to enjoy each others company but leave just in time before we get on each others nerves lol.

Merry Christmas to y'all! Hope those who celebrated with gifts received suitably wonderful stuff! My wife has RIDICULOUSLY spoiled me, and doesn't know that round 2 is coming for her on the next paycheck.
