In one of the most f'ed up things I've seen in recent history, the University of Arizona Medical Center has a robotic woman that gives birth to a robotic son so that medical students can witness the horrors of robotic birth firsthand.
Named Noelle, she grunts, screams, yells at the doctors, pees, bleeds -- and yes, even gives birth (to a cute little robot baby named Hal).
Paid for with a $40,000 grant from Miami-based Guarnard Scientific, the university bought Noell, baby Hal, and another, smaller robot-baby in January. Then Noelle was taken out of commission for a while when medical students (yelp!) broke her pelvic bone.
an average of 20 medical students a week diagnose all sorts of birth complications like cesareans and breach births. Noelle can even hemorrhage, all while screaming in pain and yelling things like \"don't touch me\" at the medical students.

Great, at this rate she's gonna have like 1,000 babies a year. WHO KEEPS KNOCKING THIS ROBOTIC BITCH UP? I'm looking at you, shifty night patrolman! DUM DUM DUM!

Thanks to Demon Spawn, who get it pregnant with like thirty little devil babies.

Run for your life!

I thought you were talking about the two threads you posted on the same OOTS comic.

The thread got submitted twice and it wouldn't let me delete it so I decided to change one of the threads to be about pizza.

I give up.[/QUOTE]

What? I figured since I made the thread it would let me delete it so I looked real quick for a delete button like when you delete a post you make but I didn't see it. I figured I would just edit to something else rather than bug you mods.

Ya really should've just reported it. Now I'm stuck eating pizza.

I can see the educational value in this.

That is, if the goal is to teach the medical students how to deal with a cheesed-off pile of plastic that shoots effluvia at them.

Joan Rivers does need a lot of doctors.

I thought Joan Rivers had died already. Or has the experimental AI that controls her facial expressions taken over post mortem and is now making her shamble around in a horrid semblance of life?

PLEASE. BUG. THE MODS.

It's what we're here for. I do a joyous and very sinuous bellydance every time someone reports his own post instead of just saying "Mods, delete/move this" or whatever. (Which I realize is not what you did but I'm fighting a losing battle here.)

I like the "this thread is now about YYZ" thing, though. Sometimes it spawns something interesting. (And then there are other times when I wind up stuck eating a pizza I didn't want)

Yeah, honestly I don't mind that either. It's when it comes with a complaint about not being able to move or delete that it gets on my nerves.

Also, Greco-Roman Pizza in San Francisco was the best ever. Have had nothing but shit for pizza since I moved to L.A.

hm, well, I guess I'd rather if a medical student would break a woman's pelvis while she is giving birth, better to break a robot woman's pelvis than an actual woman's pelvis.

I wasn't trying to complain I was just trying to explain what happened

Witness the "horrors"? Meh, only if it was in Japan, then there'd be tentacles, a lot of blue room lighting and boob missiles, then it would be a "horror"

Speaking about this, now I see a "Hey, Silver Jelly! If you'd like a post moved or deleted, please report it to the mods using the "exclamation point in a triangle" icon. Thank you. " message on top of my page. Is this a message for everybody (in wich every forum user sees his name being used) or does this have something to do with something I've done? I can't remember reporting anything lately but...
