Okami sequel, for the DS

Taking a page from the DragonQuest and Shin Megami book, the next Okami game will be on the DS.





Earlier this month, Capcom trademarked the word Okamiden leaving many to believe that Capcom would finally be making a new Okami game. Well, turns out it was true!

Okamiden is featured in the latest issue of Famitsu and you can see a scan of the article from True-Gaming up above. The new game is coming out for the DS and will be out sometime in 2010.

I’m impressed that the Capcom was able to keep the stylized look of Okami on the DS. The DS is also perfect for the controls Okami presents. Just please, no more Issun, okay?

That's awesome news. I really never thought this would happen since Clover Studios shut down. Maybe there's hope for another Viewtiful Joe too...
