Only one of these shows can get renewed for a second season.

The 2009-2010 TV season had a really great crop of network comedies. I'm including I think all the decent-to-good ones that got renewed for a second season.

BUT

Disaster struck and they all got cancelled anyways, OH NO!!! But a genie pops up and says no it's okay, you can save one of these shows. Only one will get a second season. Which do you go with? Do you pick the one you just plum like the most? Do you pick the one that has the most potential? It's up to you.

We can also discuss how awesome all these shows are. For me, it's a three horse race between Community, Modern Family, and Glee. I will probably post more indepth about it, but they're far ahead of the others. The rest I haven't seen, but have just heard are okay/solid/good and such. And the Cleveland Show is on there just for laughs.

Even though it's cheesy and high school soap opera, Glee is the best of that list.

Here's my biggest problem with Glee. My daughter's class wants to now do Bohemian Rhapsody for next year's music show because they did it so well on Glee! These kids are not 20+ year old musical prodigies who have their stuff autotuned and produced. It's going to be TERRIBLE!

Community gets my vote, as it is the only one of those shows I regularly watched and enjoyed.

Community is a good show. Donald Glover rocks my world. The main character (or maybe it's the actor) bugs me a bit, though, so I don't watch it regularly. Glee gets my vote.

I am so torn between Community, Modern Family, and Glee. They're all super good for different reasons. I'd love to see how they write around them graduating Community College in two years. I'd love to watch Modern Family go on for 10 years! And Glee has a lot of potential to get better.

None of the above. I don't watch any of those.

Community! That really had some great moments in it. The paintball episode was just amazing to me.

I didn't watch a lot of glee. I don't really care about the story all that much.

Parenthood was one of the most underrated new shows of the season. I almost voted for Modern Family as well. I've never seen Glee, mostly because the premise doesn't appeal to me, but I've heard good things.

Cleveland Show, mainly because it's the only one of those I watch.

I'd tell the genie to cut the crap and bring back Farscape :)

I haven't watched any of the shows in the poll so no comment on them.

I just noticed... Parenthood isn't really a comedy. It's split evenly between drama and comedy, so it doesn't quite fit on the list.

Glee can be very dramatic as well, but I thought it was closer to a comedy than something like NCIS LA

Anything but glee.

Community, without a question. I tried watching a random episode of Glee once but got bored with it. Maybe I'd watch it from the beginning if I notice hulu putting the first episode back on. The Cleveland Show is nothing but a lame excuse for having two episodes of Family Guy each week, which imo, isn't that great of a show to begin with that I could take or leave. The other shows I haven't seen.

The only decent show on there is Glee so... BAM.

Community, because it would make my sister happy, and I don't really care about any of them.

Definitely Community. By far the best new comedy this year.

Have never watched an episode of any of those shows, so I'd ask the Genie to bring back Firefly and Farscape, and get a move on getting the new Muppet Show on the air.

Unlike Firefly, all these shows are getting a second season.

Frankly, I'm just glad Chuck is getting another season. Maybe they'll get some god damn sense and stop running it against House this year, now that Heroes is cancelled.

Plus in real life lawyers will come after you for doing that. Soooo good luck kids and have fun learning about the judicially approved graft system called ASCAP!

Oh, and about the shows, I've seen a few of each on hulu, so, yah no vote here, sorry.

What? You can do whatever songs you want in a choir/band show, provided you've bought the sheet music.

Also I voted for Glee, as I don't care for the Cleavland Show and I haven't seen the others.

Same as others, I never watched any of the shows listed. But I would've loved it if Better Of Ted would've been renewed.

Yeah, can the Genie do other options?

Farscape, Firefly, Better Off Ted, or Arrested Development would all be acceptable.

Or just guaranteeing that Chuck will make it to syndication.

Glee's "drama" is so over the top I consider it part of the comedy.

I gave up on watching that show after this one character delivered this line completely seriously: "My sexts are too hot to erase." *CLICK* Music's fine, although the lip syncing often bugged me. The rest of the show is just not interesting.

I am sad to hear that, but hairography was a rather low point in the season, can't you give it a try?

(skip 14, it is pointless)

O that wasn't the only episode I saw. That's just one part I remember that made me lose interest. There are definitely some parts I enjoyed. Jane Lynch is a VERY talented woman, and she brought a lot of humor to the show. There were some parts at the end with that teacher and his wife that were interesting, too. But ultimately it just isn't something I want to devote any more of my time to.
