[TV] Orange Is The New Black (season 2)

I watched the hell out of it. The last 10 minutes of the last episode are so awesome, I think I'm going to watch it again.

I think this season may have actually been better than the first season, but it's a close call. It just continues to be a great show and I look forward to more. I loved the addition of Vee as a major player this season, and the surprising amount of depth they gave to Poussay and Tastee.

So holy shit, last night's episode was intense. I mean, we all knew that Helena would go that far? I mean, yeah, it was a long time coming and she was already insane, but...Jesus. I didn't think she'd take it THAT far.

....wait.

Shit. This isn't the Orphan Black thread.

Despite my feeling like the second episode was underwhelming… it's really gone on to surpass the first season. It's so good. There's one or two things that I think are overly cheesy or "soap-opera-ey" that I think could have been handled with a little bit more realism, but in the end I've realized the Jenji likes to swing wildly between super serious and super cheesy, and it really works with her writing style. It's really, really good.

While I agree with what happened at the end, I feel like it might have been a little *too* cartoony.
