I'm seriously thinking about getting a Pathfinder game going here but don't know who would be interested and if so what night/time/gametable would we use?
Thoughts?

I'd be interested, but my schedule is very....well...unstable to say the least.
I effing love Pathfinder.

I'd be in. Sundays work best.

Paladins are actually good.

I'm in but my availability is limited by work, 2-11pm I'm unavailable and mornings aren't good. Late nights are best. (Eastern Time zone, so a little earlier for everyone else)

If we can't get people to agree on a schedule, why not do a play by post game?

If we can set a day, I can see about working around it.

Dave, if you're interested, I have the PDF of the new classes they're releasing. It was allowed to be downloaded for playtesting, and I don't think it's on the site anymore.

There's also a third party book out there with several good classes in it. Gladiator, Samurai, Elemental Wizard... you happen to recall the name and author?

Dave
Strangely enough I do know who the author is....*looks up*

Not sure if you were asking or not LB, but if you were the designer was Jason Bulmahn and the title was Advanced Players Guide.

Since that doesn't have the Elemental Wizard, Gladiator and Samurai class I mentioned, no, it isn't. I was referring to Paths of Power, which I wrote. The APG will feature the Witch (a different version than ours), Cavalier, Oracle, Summoner, Inquisitor, and Alchemist.

I would have explained all of that but I don't have them yet and the PDFs are on my work PC right now.

Well, how about we just do core only and work in a subforum here as a PbP?
#17
Dave
We could do that. But I've never GMed a PBP game before, nor have I been in one.

Well, the pace is very slow compared to a regular game, since it relies on everyone else posting, and it requires a lot of preparation since you can't just answer things live. But it's a decent alternative since it eliminates the scheduling conflict.
You may want to go to the Paizo forums and read how their PbP games on their messageboards go.

I'd be up for a PbP game. My schedule sucks totally for a live game - as I sadly proved last year - but I'd be up for this.

Would need some kind of online dice roller for all the participants.

Some people I know use Google Wave.

What is google wave, anyway?
#23
Dave
Something everyone has to be invited to. It's like an email bulletin board illegitimate child.

Well, if it'll work, I'm willing to try it. I was just thinking it was some stupid phone thing.
