Well dang. I knew he was having health issues, but I never reckoned they were that bad. I was never the biggest Maiden fan, though I like them well enough, but there's no denying the influence they've had on the metal scene, and Paul got them started, singing on their first two albums.
RIP, Paul, you fucking legend.
