Ever feed peanut butter to a Dog?

#7

It's not cheating if you spread peanut butter on your balls and let your dog lick it off.

Because it's your dog.

Yeah, but if you have to use peanut butter, it's cheating. Convince him without anything and you're doing it old school.

My usual breakfast is peanut butter on a whole wheat tortilla wrapped around a banana.

Is it wrong that the first thing I thought of when I saw that the thread was now about peanut butter was me, a dog, and my webcam?

I do no think so.

Do you know what's dangerous? The internet. That's right, the internet leads to more molested dogs each year than any other technology. And that's including cable news and peanut butter. So please, when you go to log on, take a moment and consider what you're doing. For the dogs.

This reminds me of a scavenger hunt item we had to get as fraternity pledges, "the impression of a woman's boob in a fresh jar of peanut butter".

Enterprising groups usually combined the transaction with "a picture of a hooker standing in a fountain".

This:

on graham crackers, or on Milton's bread with strawberry jam.

Wasabi Poptart

Laura Scudder's Old Fashioned Natural Smooth Peanut Butter. It's a pain to stir up, but it tastes great.

I attempted to make peanut butter cupcakes this week. They didn't taste very peanut-buttery.

So later I made banana cupcakes with peanut butter and chocolate icing. Pretty tasty.

I tried that one first. It was good. I honestly can't remember why I switched to Laura Scudders, but at the time I know I did have a reason. It might have been that their reduced fat version was available in my area, but Smucker's wasn't.

You know they're the same company, right? Smucker's bought Laura Scudders, and now I'm pretty sure they're the same product with different labels.

I looked at the calorie count on lower fat PB vs regular PB..... same calories. Wtf? So I eat regular PB.

2 cups roasted peanuts
1 1/2 teaspoons peanut oil or olive oil
1/2 teaspoon sugar

Steps

1. Pour 2 cups of roasted peanuts into a food processor bowl that has metal food processor blade attached.
2. Add 1 1/2 teaspoons vegetable oil. Cover the bowl with the food processor lid and chop up the peanuts continuously for 2 to 3 minutes or until the mixture forms a ball.
3. Scrape down the food processor bowl, if needed, when processing the peanuts.
4. Taste the freshly made peanut butter and add a touch of salt, if needed.
5. Add small quantities of brown sugar or molasses for a sweeter taste.
6. Spoon peanut butter into a jar and seal. Store in the refrigerator.

I've gone to a wholefoods and an HEB where they had grinders that made the peanut butter right there that you could put into containers and buy according to weight. They had cashews, regular peanuts and honey roasted peanuts. It was amazing!

Chibibar

I love wholefoods.

They have the nummiest (not a word) honey cashew "peanut butter" mmmmmmmmmmmm I just wish it doesn't cost like 6$ a jar.

I love their almond butter. I've never been able to actually buy it, but I make samples all the time when I go there for Cambozola. :D
