So, I'm been on a gaming kick recently and just played through all 3 available episodes so far.

And all I can say is OH MAH GAH I need more!

Episodes 1 and 2 were good, somewhat unique, definitely funny (lol'ed a number of times), and I loved that you got to create your own character.

Just finished Ep 3, which goes into the 16-32bit style of gaming, which was a great way to keep their game fresh and possibly cheaper. Plenty of parodies and homages, and the story kicks up a notch big time. I did lament the lack of continuing your character from 1 and 2.

I'd say the class system was unique, but it's not-- though they did flip it on its head with the TRIPLE-class system, allowing you to mix up 2 additional classes to your base class, and I have to say, this works great. You feel very clever when you start exploiting the strengths of each one and pairing them up with others. I had Moira as an early powerhouse with speed-boosts and speed-based attacks (far outclassing the "warrior" class of Gabe); and then I turned that right back around towards the end of the game, having Gabe deal a devastating 62,000 points of damage in one hit. This roughly halved the boss's HP at the time. (For reference, the "speed" powerhouse was hitting for 3,500 after buffs.)

Fun, fun game, and they had the audacity to cliffhang it with "Continued in Episode 4!"

With 1 and 2, I could have left them afterwards and been like, "Eh, good games, guess I'll see when the next one comes out." After 3, I am like "JESUS SHIT I NEED THE NEXT ONE."

And that is my review.

:p
