A former student of mine recently sent me an email about a class she's taking at the UoA. Since it's an honors class, they tried to make it cool, and challenging, and modern, and all that crap. It's really strange. But a big part of the class is that there's this "institute" that's watching our class to see how they learn, and how they approach the topic of memory. She tells me that no one in the class believes this institute is a real thing but they want proof.
She gave me a website, http://memoryinstitute.ning.com/ , and asked if I had some way of finding out who owns the site, how long it's been up, anything at all. I found out a bit about the professor using my usual stuff but I e-stalk people. This is new to me. The name of the professor teaching the class is Dr. Jerrold (Jerry) Hogle. Sara K. Howe and Joshua Zimmerman are also two T.A. for the class.
So if anyone of you can tell me anything it'd be a great help. Call it an ARG that might be a legitimate institute.
