Call me a Sony fanboy now that I have a PS3, but I'm very curious about this.

Admittedly, it bears a LOT of similarities to the Wii, but without the Wii's hardware limitations. The controls smoother and versatile. The mini-games come with the sports game look pretty fun, particularly the gladiator game. Plus, with Socom 4, FPS games will be much more comfortable for me to play. I'm so used to playing an FPS with a keyboard and mouse and find using just a regular controller uncomfortable.

So, yeah, my curiosity is piqed on this. Gonna wait to try it out, first, before buying it.

I'm not the biggest new controller/peripheral fan but this... looks promising. I enjoy my Wii but haven't found the gesture controls responsive enough, or maybe I am just that slow. I end up playing games with just d-pad and the 2 buttons like holding the old NES controllers.

I don't really feel like spending the extra money on a Wii so this would be really perfect. Plus I trust Sony to have some awesome games with this tech. I love the wii sports but they are in desperate need of an upgrade.

I like the Wii but I must admit that for the most part I prefer my games to be motion control free or at least having it used sparingly.

Like 90% of games with Sixaxis support?

Seriously, I am interested in this and want one but I can't help but fear this will go the way of the Playstation Eye: a peripheral that you thought was awesome but is now collecting dust because no one is willing to develop for it.

Hopefully we'll get some quality Wii ports. Imagine No More Heroes 2 with Hi def graphics AND motion control...

Heh, touche. I turn that bastard off as soon as I have the opportunity. But at least they give you the option to turn it off most times. At least, it did for Ratched & Clank and Saint's Row 2. I can't speak for all of them.

Yeah, I only have a wii, and the motion control can be annoying for some games. On some, it's a beautiful thing--like RE4. I mean, it's like you have a real gun.

Eh, normally I'd say extra peripheral crap like this never does well unless they're integral to the console or at least packed in with it but the huge success (waning now) of the music game throws that generalization totally out of whack.

I'm not interested myself but I guess other people out there are.

Yeah, but Guitar Hero/Rock Band sold because there was some compelling software driving it. Same with the Wii Balance Board (I know plenty of people who bought Wii's just for Wii Fit). I haven't seen the entire presentation, but what I did see of it left me somewhat underwhelmed. Apparently I'm not alone in that:

Honestly Move just comes across as "it's like the Wii, but in HD and without any Nintendo games". Hell at least Natal has a novel approach to motion controls, but even there Natal will live or die based on it's software. Personally I'm intrigued by Natal, I cannot get excited by until I see some actual games.
