1) You should probably genuinely think your movie is better than the one before.
2) You probably need to have actually seen the movie before.
3) No posts that are just "Movie Title". At least a couple words about why your movie is good and/or the other one is not as good.
4) No repeats, that will be boring.
5) Try not to do SUPER obscure movies that no one has ever seen or heard of.
6) The game will end when a movie is posted that everyone agrees is the greatest movie of all time. (lol)
7) Feel free to get "off topic" and argue about someone's post, arguments rule.
I will start with a somewhat easy one that I think most people have seen.
X-Men: The Last Stand
I think this movie is better than getting stabbed in the foot with a rusty nail.

Serenity
Because yeah, Galaxy Quest was a funny movie, but c'mon....SERENITY! Space cowboys versus space rage zombies. WIN!

Citizen Kane.
Because I've actually seen it, Rosebud was his sled, and...

Casablanca. As revolutionary as Citizen Kane might have been at the time in terms of editing and cinematography, Casablanca still holds up today for its memorable characters, enjoyable dialogue which has had a greater impact on the culture than the previous movie, and its actual emotions. Citizen Kane is what today's Oscar bait aspires to be, but Casablanca is a solid character-driven story and is what good movies should be.

Out of the Past.
Don't get me wrong, I love me some Casablanca, but Out of the Past is probably one of my favourite film noir movies.

The Thundercats movie that they'll eventually make. Because Anthony Hopkins as Mumrah was just fantastic.
OK but I guess if we're already at THIS point fuckin' 11 posts into the game I'll say Seven Samurai.
It's a beautifully told story that invented the genera of a small group of heroes fighting against a greater evil. Basically Saving Private Ryan/dirty dozen/full metal jacket/ every war movie and most actions movies ever have this film to thank. Though come to think of it assuming no one else would have had that idea is kinda dumb but one still has to give mad props (do people still give mad props?) to Kurosawa. Some of the shots are just awesome, especially considering the time when the film was shot. The acting is actually enjoyable, even to someone like me who is unfamiliar with Japanese customs and how people generally interact with one another. The scene where Kikuchiyo finds the baby is, I feel, a genuinely good moment in cinematic history. The final message at the end, before the closing shot really hits the nail on the head as to the plight of the soldier.

It's on netflix instant watch, along with a few other films of his.
ugh. I don't really care for princess bride. I had to see it like 3 times in one semester in school because that's usually what happened when we had a sub. I doubt I could sit down and watch it even now.
I'll probably youtube the part where he explains what "to the pain" is at some point, but then I'll have my fix.
Better Billy Crystal movie with better kissing parts: When Harry Met Sally

Because The Marx Brothers are all way better than Billy Crystal. Even Zeppo.

I chose to read this thread at the wrong time. I literally cannot bring myself to say a negative thing about Duck Soup.

Wet Hot American Summer is funnier than any other movie listed in here, is infinitely re-watchable, and is a great gateway into a whole lineup of comedy superstars and their projects.
But truthfully the game ended with Casablanca. That movie is aaaawesome.
