Natalie Portman has signed on to produce and star in the movie version of the best-selling book \"Pride and Prejudice and Zombies,\" written by Seth Grahame-Smith and, uh, Jane Austen.

Terrible. But if Portman's involved, I reckon it will make money.

How will I be able to tell Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth apart from the zombies?

I wasn't a huge fan of the book (either the original or the updated undead version), but this could be pretty funny if they make it a little meta.

I'd rather they got on with filming World War Z, though.

Last I heard, WWZ was getting a miniseries. Which is probably a better fit to be honest.

YES! I'm excited for this. I loved the book. Thought it was a riot. Natalie Portman..... meh. Only thing I know her from is the Star Wars prequels. And I won't pass judgement on an actor by their performance in a shitty movie with nothing to work with.

Oh man if WWZ gets a miniseries I'll be so happy. My biggest fear is that they take WWZ, turn it into a movie, and actually just make it a narrative film set during WWZ. It NEEDS to be presented as a factual examination of the war, or it doesn't work. A miniseries makes me think that's exactly what they're going for.

Charlie's pride prejudices him against zombies perhaps?
