PS3 question: autoplay a cd

So I just got a PS3. I took out my DVD player, since this should replace it. Here's the problem though. I had my DVD player hooked to my receiver so that it doubled as a CD player.

Here's what I want:
A cd should automatically play when I put it into the PS3, and I shouldn't have to turn on the tv and go through XMB.

Here's what I did:
When I got my PS3, I found the "Autoplay Disc on Insertion" option in system settings. According to the help text, that was exactly what I was looking for. Great. It worked!

The problem:
If multiple people want to play a game on the PS3, they each have to create their own user for some games. Like Little Big Planet. Okay, fine. So I created a new user for my son. Now, though, the autoplay doesn't work. At least not the way I want it to. A disc will still autoplay if you stick it into the PS3 while you're already logged in. If you're not (e.g. you turned on the ps3 and put in a disc), it won't play until you select a user.

The question:
Is there any way to have the PS3 autoplay a disc when there are multiple users? I don't want to have to turn on the tv just to play a CD. That seems so stupid. Even if it just autologged in one person, that would be cool.

Thanks.

Crap. Nevermind. I found the answer here: http://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/ps3/current/users/login.html

I didn't see it in the paper manual. Must've just glanced over it.

i've lost mine.
was just a general hooray for manuals on or offline.
but remember it auto-logs you in when your little one turns it on too, and he will no doubt become warped playing all them AO games you own....
