OK, so maybe the movie won’t be awesome, exactly. At least not for anyone looking for anything Oscar-worthy. But we’ll bet that if you’re a fan of Transformers (nothing wrong with that), then “Battleship” is almost certainly right up your alley.

It looks ridiculously stupid and VERY forced to get the game's concept into the movie.

That said, as absolutely stupid and dumb it'll no doubt be, I may actually see it in theatres. Can't be any worse than any of the Transformers movies.

From the looks of the trailer, it looks more like the aliens are going to make the U.S. and Japanese fleets involved in the exercise fight each other. Which casts the players of the game as the aliens, thoughtlessly murdering hundreds of people for their amusement.
