[Music] Record Store Day 2012

Much like Free Comic Day is a holiday to comic stores etc, RSD is like Black Friday and Dec 23rd/24th wrapped up into one for indie record stores. Was curious if anyone participated in this past weeks RSD and if so what'd you pick up/walk out pissed off some jerkoff bought to flip on ebay record you wanted?

Man I wish I had known about this. Sonic Boom participated, I love Sonic Boom! 'Course, I was visiting the hospital last weekend so I wouldn't have gone even if I had known. I'll have to remember this for next year though.

missed it. Also I don't own a record player, but I want to get a collection going. I love the sound of records, I love the cover art, I love how records--like any album--force you to listen to a collection of songs as one singular story, versus the hodgepodge ADHD that digital music and downloading has done.

Ugh, but as soon as I start, I'm a fucking hipster or a poser.

But yeah, I'm always on the lookout for my favorite albums to snag at a cheap price.
