Rep count error

I have gotten 2 + reps in the last couple of days, however, my count has gone up +4, instead of +2, unless I missed a post about how many rep points you get anymore?

The amount of rep points you receive when someone reps varies depending on the person. I believe the amount of time someone has been a member/post count/rep points/etc all goes into determining how much a specific persons rep power is.
