[Brazelton] Rest in Peace Hiroshi Yamauchi

You're probably thinking who?

He's the guy that made Nintendo into a video game company. He died at 85 today from pneumonia complications. He was the president of Nintendo until 2002 and as of his death was still the second biggest shareholder in the company. He's one of those weird rich people who turned down giant monstrous sums of cash when he refused his pension after retiring from Nintendo, saying the company could put that money to better use.

I can't imagine how different my childhood and life in general would have been if he hadn't existed.

Saw the story, but since I didn't really get involved until the SNES, I didn't feel qualified to post it.
If it wasn't for him, the market would've belonged to Atari/Coleco/Mattel, and they weren't exactly treating their customers with reverence at the time.
