Some City of Heroes/Villains players (the Wentworth’s Country Club Super Group) together along with The Cape (A player run radio station) Have made a donation drive called Real World Hero. The site is basically a portal for donating to three charities Childs Play, Donate Games, and Operation Gratitude.
What ties it into the game, other than the free advertising by the cape is that the Devs of CoX will give donators for ANY amount a golden title bar in game until the first of January. As of this morning the three charities have received from this one portal $2744.
Anyone know of similar things running in other games?
