In other words, it's a Republican debate. Anyone watching?

Nope.

No, but I'm sure I'll hear about it. Are any of these guys exciting to the Republicans? I may have to ask my right leaning friends who they are interested in.

I advise you not to watch, Charlie. Having an ulcer when you're young is seriously uncomfortable.

I'm following on twitter. I can't take any of these people seriously. Ugh.

All I know is, no matter who is running I'm voting Palin/Bachmann 2012 because, well, aren't you curious? I mean, just a little???

It would leave me to wonder which blind person is leading. :awesome:

Well, we know only one of them can look at the place they are supposed to look so...

At least with Cheney and Bush you knew which one was moving his hand to make the other one speak!

And now I have a horrible, horrible, but possibly sexy, image stuck in my head.

I'll watch it because I like to stay informed, rather than hearing it from pundits afterwards.

Here's the AP article covering the event.

TL;DR: "Obama is evil! It doesn't matter what we plan to do, or want to do, or even can do! All you need to know is that Obama is to blame for everything bad in your life, and we're not Obama! Waaaaah!"

I may have to turn in my liberal card (2 more punches and I get to feel less guilty about being white) for this but replace Obama with Republicans (more like republaCAN'Ts (now just one more punch) ) and that's how we won last time.

Well when your empire is faltering you are always better off getting someone insane or utterly idiotic to finish it off... it makes for way better material for the history books...

That was essentially the 2004 mantra against Bush. Anyone who finds this surprising or somehow thinks that their "side" doesn't say the same shit every four year cycle either doesn't pay attention to politics or are willfully ignorant. If the Republicans win, you'll see the same thing in 2016,that is unless we've all died from an apocalyptic explosion (cause by those damn Republicans, of course).

Oh dear me, I hope you don't think I'm "willfully ignorant." I remember the anti-Bush campaign perfectly well. I mocked that back then too.

Nah, not really. That was more of a general statement. However your post was hilarious to read when reading it with a C-3P0 voice for some reason. "Oh dear me R2..."

That's about the same effect that kerry has on m...m....mmm....zzZzzzZzz......

Oh but didn't you know?? According to actor Richard Gere, Prez Obama is going to go down in history as being the greatest president there ever was.

He said it, yes he did.

I am incredibly disappointed that Bachmann did not bring the crazy. I expect, nay, DEMAND the crazy that we all know she has at the ready.

Don't worry, she's just saving it for when she's elected... now you just have to do your part. And once you do... it's gonna be all reverse-caligula up in this joint...
