Honestly, I was kind of surprised to hear that she was still alive. I had forgotten about her.

She was pretty active in international politics when I was young.

I don't think I ever sat all the way through any of her films. Mostly the exposure I had to her work were just music video sized clips. I must have been the first generation that did not grow up on her films.
