Should you shave or let it grow?
Should you shave or let it grow?
If you shave it will grow back stubble
If you don't LittleSin will be trouble.
I'm hear just to let you know.

If you shave off that facial hair you will look SO MUCH LESS like a creeper.

Don't be weird, shave that beard!

Officer_Charon
Dude... nothing personal, but it makes you look like Steve Buscemi
Long before I tried to get this beard going, I was often told (especially when my face was thinner before I hit 30) that I looked like Steve Buscemi. So either way I go, I'm going to get that.
Have you ever tried growing out your beard before? If not, let it grow in just so you can say you've done it once. Get the bug out of your system.
After that? Shave it, at least the mustache. Ye gods.

this is the thickest I've been able to get it so far.
/edit
umm..that sounds odd. the BEARD. the BEARD is the thickest I've been able to get it.. oh you get the idea.
#18
Baerdog
How long have you been growing it for?
#19
Matt²
hmm.. forget.. probably two months?
#20
Baerdog
In that case everything that will grow in probably already has grown in. You've had a lot of suggestions to shave your mustache. I'd try that out first and take another picture before getting rid of the goatee.

...i'd look like a castaway after 2 months.
I sometimes envy those who need not shave. I really do.

Shaved 'stache.. took some inbetween photos.. as soon as I can get my older phone to recognize on Win7 64 bit, I'll upload, otherwise, those photos will be up tomorrow.
If you keep just the goat, grow some of that on the front of your chin. Beards below the Jawline just don't seem to work in my book.
Also look at the responses in the poll. The last time I looked the ladies said shave it, when it gets down to it, that is what matters.

I still say shave it all. I prefer that look. But ya know, if you're really attached to the beard part of it, it doesn't look terrible or anything.

Necronic
Don't listen to the Delilahs in here. They're just trying to weaken you up so the Phillistines can get you.
#37
Calleja
Shave it all off... and THEN let the chin grow normally, don't shave it in front and let the under-the-jaw-line part grow... that looks bad. Unless that's how it grows and you didn't trim it?
#38
Matt²
actually I trimmed the neckbeard forest underneath my chin down to where it was in the pictures, having trouble getting the hair follicles stimulated to grow all the way on my face..I had hair below my lower lip but I had shaved that when I shaved the mustache.

Calleja
Ok, yeah, if you have so much trouble growing it out, you should just... not. It tends to look ... forced, for lack of a better word.

Soliloquy
Ah, facial hair. It's always disappointing when you realize you can't grow what you want.
Me, I once tried to grow a full beard when I was cast as a King in a shakespeare play. But the sides of my cheeks only grow about two hairs per square inch. I ended up having to stick with this rather disappointing goatee.
#41
Calleja
See?
Forced.
#42
Soliloquy
Yup. Not growing facial hair again.
#43
Calleja
You're a handsome dude even without
#44
Soliloquy
You know it.
#45
Calleja
...yes, that's why I posted it? DUH!
#46
Soliloquy
yeah, that's why I acknowledged it, FOOL!
#47
Calleja
....shut up and kiss me
#48
Soliloquy
I don't know... I mean, I hear you're growing a mustache.
#49
Matt²
