They've restored it as good as it will ever be. Even going so far as to record cut dialog themselves. KOTOR 2 is finally where it should have been when it was released ahead of schedule almost a decade ago.

I always thought kotor2 was superior in storyline to kotor (though inferior in execution) so this pleases me.
