...but my VLC player doesn't like them. When I start one up it usually runs fine for a few seconds, but then I get horrible pixelation and sometimes the video hits a spot about a minute or two in and restarts. It also will sometimes play with no sound, and if I try to skip ahead it jumps back to the beginning.
I've played a few different Blu ray files and they all do the same thing, so it's not the files themselves as far as I can guess. I did some Googling but nothing of real value came up (most links were to Blu ray DVD players, not media players). Anyone have any idea what I can do, or if there's a different player I need for these files?
This may show some insight. At least at brief read, there are some other players. Something about vlc player can't handle 1080i vid (which I think the MKV you have are 1080i)
