Dude falls off a train in Siberia, wearing nothing but a t-shirt, shorts, and slippers. Temp is -40 (doesn't matter what scale - it's the same for both C & F at this point). What does he do? He hits the track running. Goes 4 miles or so and finds a train station with a guard.

No frostbite.

I am not as tough as this guy.

I think I would've just said "screw it" and sat down to experience what it's like to freeze to death.

You know, for science.

Was it Cody Lundin? It had to be Cody Lundin...

Na, he would have kicked the slippers off first.

I've ridden my bike in the typical bike outfit (spandex shorts and shirt) in below freezing weather - once you've warmed up to it, it's actually much more refreshing than during hot weather. Going another 40 degrees below freezing would make it very uncomfortable, but as long as you had good circulation, kept your extremities moving, and worked hard enough to heat your core and muscles, you could probably handle it for an hour, and chances are good he was going more than 4 miles an hour, so it may have only taken him 45 minutes or so.

It's still pretty bad ass, though

Yup. If he was too remote, it would have actually made things worse for him to use up all that energy so quickly. Having a safe destination to warm up in within running distance saved his life for sure.

This is an egregious waste of train tickets.
