Now I really, really wanna give this thing a shot. That One More Hat one was brilliant.

Does anyone know whether it's possible to import new models/environments into the films? Also, how high of resolution films can you make with this thing?

Considering what I have seen people use with GMod, I would be suprised if people don't figure out how to get working models with the Source Filmmaker.

BTW, did I mention I want this more then anything? Stupid Valve I put in my request when you announced it, WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME!!

You know what someone needs to make? A character creator, like in Mass Effect or Skyrim or any of a thousand other games, except it's for creating Source Engine character models.

I have *no* idea how someone would go about doing such a thing. But it's existence would be *AMAZING*

Might I assume you originally commented on using 3D Modeling software? As in, actually learning something productive?

Well, I just downloaded this and tried firing it up.

Wow, my rig is totally not good enough to make Source-engine movies. The thing lags so bad, wading through molasses would be speedy by comparison.

Oh well, another thing to add to the list I intend to try after I get a new rig. Right under Skyrim and DE:HR.
