Anyone else happy for the new eps? I've loved this show since I was 10 and I still love it today! Though I will admit that the season finale last season was pretty weak.

I love the show and have since it premiered when I was in grade 10. I've loved watching to show mature into the often brilliant satire it has become.

Rock on! My favorite would have to be Scott Tennerman must die. It was silly as a kid, but when you're an adult you appreciate how GENIUS the plan is. He deliberately made a terrible plan knowing that Stan and Kyle would tell Scott about it, KNOWING he'd send his parents to the pony farm where they'd get shot. And then he made him eat his parents. That is Hannibal level evil.

Was this what the ep was referencing? Or are you saying it's much more bloody and horrifying than the show would ever be?

Yes, it's heavily inspired by Titus Andronicus. At one point some people get baked into a pie and eaten by another character, basically to spite the eater.

I'll have to check it out then. I've been meaning to read more Shakespeare.

You might also try to watch Theater of Blood, Vincent Price does some hilariously gret Shakespeare stuff there.
It also features the scene from Titus Andronicus mentioned above, though in a slightly different version. ;)

I also remember in the 201st episode when Scott comes back they make a direct reference to the Killing Joke. I liked that.

I've been a fan of the show since the Jesus vs Santa short was making the rounds. It's one of the first things I downloaded on my first personal dial-up connections.

People are quick to write it off as being just a crass gross-out show, which I'll admit is part of its beginnings, but it has since blossomed into a great satirical show. I loved the Jersey Shore episode. That's pretty much what I see when I think of Snooki.

It's what we all see Bowielee. It's what we all see. I loved the jewelry episode, especially how it made the sycle of capitalism in those ring rackets so confusing. So true.

I my opinion the one that had the best satire would have to be the Britney Spears episode. It started out slow, but ended up being a perfect metaphor for how our society treats celebrities.

The Britany Spears episode actually made me feel bad for Britanny Spears...

Well it was supposed to. You think it's just gonna be another ep of the boys torturing someone with their trade-mark horribleness but then we get a hard curve-ball into dark satire town.

I was on the fence about the most recent episode with the home shopping network. Parts were hilarious, parts were a bit slow, and the scene with Stan calling in to the network to tell the host to kill himself was dark as hell.

Aw, but that was my favorite part! And the way the old people call in to tell him to do it as well was freakin' BOSS! One scene that honestly made me sad was when Stan's Grampa said he couldn't remember what his old dog looked like. I mean...damn! This guy has been a punch-line in every ep he's been in before this one and NOW there making us see him as a person? Weird.

I have watched the latest episode which was released on 7 Nov (Obama Wins). That episode was too good. I love that episode. I hope next episode will be better like this one.
