Does anyone here (or anywhere?) even play tabletop RPGs anymore? I still have a soft spot for them, but it seems much harder to get together with people as adults as it did in High School or even university. There's a Pathfinder game I play with a small group of friends once in a blue moon, but it's incredibly rare and we haven't gamed in months.
Speaking of High School. Back in the day, my friend homebrewed a wrestling RPG. It treated the wrestling as a real competition, so you'd buy new moves, upgrade them, buy traits and drawbacks, upgrade attributes, etc. We had a lot of fun with it, too. It was a fast-paced system where you could have a full match within about 30 minutes.
Off and on through the years, my friend and I have dusted off the game. We've taken it apart and tried to fix everything broken about it or tried to make it quicker, easier, more accessible, etc. It barely resembles the game we played in High School, and maybe even for the better. The original was incredibly broken, honestly, with a lot of exploits. Now, matches can be much quicker (15-20 minutes, once you're familiar with the rules) and there's a lot of fun stuff in there.
Anyway, for whatever reason, I've dusted it off again and thinking of getting some local friends together for some rasslin'. My friend and I are thinking of finishing off the tweaking and self-publishing it online.
I know some here are into tabletop roleplaying - or used to be - so I uploaded the game's document to my Dropbox. Have a look, if you'd like:

Admittedly, there's some things that still need tweaking or overhauling. Movement out of the ring and back in is, at the moment, not really feasible. Cheating needs to be explained better. But still, have a look if you'd like. If someone wants to try this with me on Vent or Skype or something, I'm game.
