Ok, I want a new game. I have a few games i am going to trade in to help me out, I just need to decide what to get.

I have been downloading demos today and have tried Splinter Cell: Conviction and really like it. I am currently downloading the demo to Batman: Arkham Asylum as well. I kind of want to get one of these, but am not sure which one.

Splinter Cell is new and has had positive reviews so far, but Batman has had lots of great reviews and game of the year honors as well.

I just can't make up my mind. Which is where you guys come in. I'd like to hear pros & cons and what everyone thinks.

And yes, I already am aware of

I felt Batman was far better. SC is a good choice as well but a distant 2nd.

Get a used copy of Batman: Arkham Asylum from Gamestop. The game is AWESOME, and definitely has replay value, but it should be short enough for you to beat it within Gamestop's one-week return policy. Basically, any USED game you buy from there can be returned for a full (cash) refund within 7 days with receipt, so you should be able to beat it and tell whether or not you want to keep it.

Given a simple choice between the two, though: go for Batman. FANTASTIC game, especially if you liked the 90's animated series.
