So, in the last weekend of April, I've signed up for the EarthRun (http://www.earthrun.com). It's only 5k, which for me is honestly a piece of cake.

Anyway, there's an option to get more sponsors to raise funds. The one I signed up for was the David Suzuki Foundation. Fortunately, unlike the CN Tower climb (which I sadly couldn't do this year), there's no minimal donations needed to join.

Still, if anyone's willing to donate, feel free (http://www.active.com/donate/earthrun2010/NPiers). Or if you just want to throw some support my way, I'm okay with that.

I will not have the money to do it before the 3rd of May because of pay reasons but if you wear your Superman cape and post pictures I will donate $50 after May 1.

Heh, that's an easy request to fullfill. You realize that my profile picture was from last year's CN Tower climb? *grin!*

Not sure if donations are still accepted AFTER the run, but if it's similar to the CN Tower climb set up, then I think it does.

I'm employed again!! Which means I can probably help you very very soon. Although I won't have much, I will do what I can when I'm paid.

I just don't understand 5k runs. I mean, if you trip and fall face down at the starting line you're like 1/2 way done.
